STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The No. 20-ranked UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team faces its first ranked opponent, No. 6 St. Thomas, before traveling west to take on Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps over the break.

Since shooting a combined 35.9 percent against Edgewood and North Central from Nov. 25-29, UW-Stevens Point has shot a combined 54.4 percent in four-straight double-figure wins in a 10-day stretch from Dec. 3-13.

In the last two games, the Pointers are 17-for-36 (47.2 percent) from behind the arc. The strong long-range shooting has raised UWSP's three-point shooting percentage from 33.0 to 36.6.
