DeVon Jackson (Milwaukee/Rufus King/Williston State) scored a career high 19 points as the UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team trounced UW-River Falls 80-44 Saturday Afternoon.

The No. 7 Pointers shot just 33.3 percent from the field in the first half, but they took a 30-17 lead into the break due in large part to forcing 11 turnovers in the period.
A 12-2 run for UWSP midway through the second half was capped off by a Jackson three pointer and put the Pointers on top 54-27.
The Pointers shot 76.9 percent from the field in the second half and 52.5 percent for the game.
Jordan Giordana (Kaukauna, WI/Kaukauna),
Joe Ritchay (Wisconsin Rapids, WI/Lincoln) and
Clayton Heuer (Wisconsin Rapids, WI/Lincoln/UW-Green Bay) each scored 11 points for UWSP.
The Pointer defense forced 17 turnovers in all.
UWSP finished with its best rebounding margin of the season, topping the Falcons 37-22.
The 36-point win is the largest for the Pointers this season.
UWSP returns home Wednesday, Jan. 23 when it hosts No. 15 UW-Whitewater for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Gold Nite.
