NORMAL, Ill. – McKenna Prestigiacomo (Madison, WI/LaFollette) finished tied for 24th to pace the UW-Stevens Point women's golf team to a 14th place finish at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling tournament at Ironwood Golf Course.

Prestigiacomo fired a second round 87 to finish with a two-day 167.

Mary Welch (Madison, WI/West) finished tied for 31st with an 84 on day two for a two-day total of 169. Kayla Johnson (Shawano, WI/Shawano) shot six strokes better on day two to finish with a 186, good for a tie for 78th place and Olivia Schiefelbein (Johnston, IA/Johnston) finished tied for 80th with a two-day 188.

The Pointers return to action on Friday, April 20 with a one-day tournament at UW-Whitewater.
