STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point baseball team is ranked sixth in both the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com Top 25 polls, announced Tuesday.

UW-Stevens Point is currently 5-1 overall and in the middle of the team's annual spring break trip to Auburndale, Fla.
The Pointers opened the southern swing with a 14-4 hammering of Benedictine University on Saturday and split a Sunday doubleheader against now 13th-ranked St. Thomas on Sunday. Monday, the Pointers posted a 14-3 victory over Fontbonne.
The Pointers continue their trip Wednesday with a 10 a.m. EST matchup against No. 24 Ramapo (N.J.), currently 10-0 on the season, at Lake Myrtle Field in Auburndale.

The Pointers close out their Florida trip with a doubleheader on March 22 with St. Olaf College and a March 23 matchup against Washington & Jefferson.
The Pointers return north and open the conference season March 31/April 1 with a four game series against UW-Stout in Menomonie, Wis.
