KENOSHA, Wis.-The UW-Stevens Point women's indoor track and field team finished second on Saturday at Carthage College at the Tadd Metzger Invite with 145 team points.

Highlights from the day included:

Kristin Mathes (Kiel, WI/Kiel) won the 600-meter run with a time of 1:44.14.

Leanna Rose (Rothschild, WI/D.C. Everest) was the top finisher in the women's pole vault clearing 3.33 meters.

Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) and Alexa Lewin (Appleton, WI/Freedom) finished 1-2 in the finals of the women's 55-meter hurdles with times of 8.42 and 8.85, respectively.

The Pointers will host the Pointer Invitational and Multi on Friday and Saturday in the Multi Activity Center.
