STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's indoor track & field team finished in second place with 126 team points on Saturday afternoon at the UWSP Indoor Tri, held at the Multi-Activity Center.
Highlights from the day included:
Hannah School (Wittenburg, WI/Wittenburg-Birnamwood) posted the top time in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8:03.
Kelly Haen (Kaukauna, WI/Kaukauna) was the top finisher in the one mile run, posting a time of 5:04.81.
Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) posted the top time in the 60-meter hurdles, posting a time of 9.06 in the preliminaries and then won the event with a 9.18 time in the finals.
The women's 4x400 relay team of
Chelsea Czarnecki (Ashland, WI/Ashland),
Nicole Hanson (Clintonville, WI/Clintonville),
Kristin Mathes (Kiel, WI/Kiel) and Rebecca Vosters finished first with a time of 4:09.56.
Leanna Rose (Rothschild, WI/D.C. Everest) finished as the top performer in the pole vault, clearing 3.20 meters (10'6”).
Tiara Rose (Shiocton, WI/Hortonville) finished with the top distance in the triple jump with her 10.62 meter jump (34'10.25”).
Amy Krzykowski (Junction City, WI/SPASH) (Junction City, WI/SPASH) finished with the top throw in the weight throw with a toss of 14.89 meters (48'10.25”).
The Pointers return to action on Friday, Jan. 27 at the Thad Metzger Invite at Carthage College in Kenosha.
