EAU CLAIRE – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team closed out the spring portion of their schedule on Friday, finishing with a team total 363 and a 6^th place finish at the UW-Eau Claire Spring Invitational at Wild Ridge Golf Course. 

The two-day meet was cut short due to inclement weather on Saturday. 

Danelle Olson (Detroit Lakes, MN/Detroit Lakes) and Mary Welsch both finished tied for 16^th, each shooting a 14-over 87. McKenna Prestigiacomo finished in 39^th with a 21-over 94. Olivia Schiefelbein (Johnston, IA/Johnston) finished tied for 40^th with a 95 and Kayla Jonson finished tied for 48^th with a 25-over 98. 

Gustavus Adolphus finished as the event champion, shooting a team total 334. Host UW-Eau Claire finished second followed by St. Olaf and Wartburg.
