STEVENS POINT – The UW-Stevens Point women's indoor track & field team hosted its final action before conference championships on Saturday, participating in the 2011 Pointer/Eastbay Invitational. No team scores were kept at the event.
Highlights from the day included:
Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) posted a first place finish in the women's 55 meter hurdle finals with a time of 8.41
The women's distance medley relay team took home the event title with a time of 11:53.88
Shaun Krueger (Kiel/Kiel) finished second on the women's 3k, posting a time of 10:48.77
Tia Nowak (East Troy, WI/East Troy High School) finished third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.68
The Pointers will head to Menomonie Feb. 26-26 for the 2011 conference championships, hosted by UW-Stout. Action Friday begins at 1 p.m.
