Pointers finish Second at Tadd Metzger

Results

KENOSHA – The UW-Stevens Point women's indoor track & field team collected 117 point on Friday afternoon on their way to a second place finish at the Tadd Metzger Invite hosted by Carthage College.  

Highlights from the meet included:
Tia Nowak (East Troy, WI/East Troy High School) won the 600 meter run with a time of 1:42.26

Claire Roberts (Oakfield/Horace Mann) won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.58

In the women's 3000 meter run, the Pointers took all but two spots in the top 10 and six Pointers secured points, as Abby Ausloos (Plymouth/Plymouth) finished second with a time of 11:06.40. Abby Reynolds (Windlake/Waterford Union), Shaun Krueger (Kiel/Kiel) and Erica Class rounded out the top five. 

Sara Kline (Casco/Luxemberg-Casco) and Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) finished in with the top two times in the 55 meter hurdle finals posting times of 8.70 and 8.71, respectively. 

The women's 4x400 relay finished second with a time of 4:10.44.

The Pointers return to action when they host the Pointer Invitational Feb. 4-5 at the Multi-Activity Center on UW-Stevens Point campus.
