JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – Michelle Pascavis (Waukesha) fired an opening round 82 and Jessica Urban (Hartland) added an 83 as the Pointers shot their way to an opening round team score of 343 at the Jekyll Island Collegiate at the Indian Mounds Golf Club.

The Pointers are currently in fourth place after day one of the three day event.

Pascavis' 82 was tied for seventh-best while Urban's 83 was tied for ninth-best on the day. Elsewhere for the Pointers Danelle Olson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) shot an 87, Amanda Dlugopolski (Appleton) fired a 91 and Nacheynah Green (Poynette) a 93.

Southwestern University lead's the 22-team field with a score of 328 while Illinois Wesleyan is in second with a 338. Allegheny College currently sits in third, four shots ahead of the Pointers.
