Picel's defensive performances helped UW-Stevens Point upset two top-10 teams to advance to the first NCAA Tournament Elite 8 in program history. Picel averaged 6.77 digs per set in three matches at the St. Paul regional, including 39 digs in a four-set win over St. Benedict.
