Wachowiak made a career-high seven tackles, including one for a loss, in UW-Stevens Point’s 34-31 victory over Coe in the team’s home opener on Saturday. Four of the junior’s seven tackles were solo stops and he helped anchor a defense that held the Kohawks to 3.3 yards per carry in the game after Coe had 318 rushing yards the previous week.
