Van Ess hit .500 on the week with a team-high 14 RBI over UWSP’s six games last week. He clubbed five home runs and had a slugging percentage of 1.227. IN game two at UW-Oshkosh on Thursday, he had three hits, two of which were home runs. He carried that momentum into the weekend racking up eight hits over the four-game sweep of UW-Platteville. He hit a grand slam in game one on Sunday, one of three home runs in the doubleheader. Van Ess also drew four walks and stole a base on the week.

Ethan Mehlberg (Golf)
Mehlberg shot a 71 (+1) on Sunday at the Bobby Krig Invitational. His excellent day two of the Invite moved Mehlberg into a tie for third, two strokes behind the event winners.
Nick Paulsen (Baseball)
Paulsen struck out a season-high 10 batters in a game one win over UW-Platteville on Saturday. He went 6.0 innings in the start.
Tre Sanda (Track Field)
Sanda continued to build off his impressive start to jump events at the Phil Esten Challenge. He concluded the weekend with a second-place finish in the triple jump with a top jump of 14.03 meters (46' 0.50"), logging a new personal-best. This mark ranks sixth in the conference and 33rd nationally.
Mason Mead (Track & Field)
Mead was the Pointers top contributing individual at the Phil Esten Challenge this past weekend. He won the 400-meter dash with a personal-best time of 48.92, which ranks 12th in the conference. He also ran a leg in the 4x400-meter relay which logged a win.
