Lopez made his first career interception in Saturday’s win over St. Norbert. His fourth-quarter pick and subsequent 11-yard return set up the game-winning field goal. Lopez also picked up a loose football on a punt in the second quarter and returned it 54 yards for a touchdown. He also had three tackles on defense, two of which were solo tackles.

Aleks Sauer-Milli (Football)
Sauer-Milli kicked his first career field goal and it turned out to be the decisive points in a 31-28 home win over St. Norbert on Saturday. His game-winning kick was a 40-yard FG with 4:34 remaining to break a 28-28 tie. He also successfully converted all four point-after attempts.

Aidan Schleutermann (Cross Country)
Schleutermann took a second-place finish with a time of 25:44.1 behind the first-place finisher by less than a second at the Ken Weidt Invitational hosted by Concordia University (Wis.) on Sept. 9. Schleutermann's time of 25:44.1 is a personal record, jumping his previous best time by 0:86 seconds. The Pointers won the six-team field with 20 points to comfortably move past runner-up Carthage College’s total of 43.

Brady Wierzbicki (Men's Tennis)
Wierzbicki tallied the Pointers sole win this past week against Macalester College at No. 5 singles. He made a comeback victory in a close bout 3-6, 7-6 (10-8), 10-8 over Hamline's Kevin Mortimer.

Josh Brogren (Men's Golf)
Brogren had a productive weekend as he shot an 80 (+8) in round one, a 73 (+1) in round two and a 75 (+3) in round three at the Bethel 2023 Minnesota Golf Classic. Brogren finished tied for 67^th with four other golfers and shot a 228 on the weekend in a crowded field filled will a multitude of Division I golfers.
