Miller won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.52 at the WIAC Swimming and Diving Championship this past weekend and was named WIAC Newcomer of the Year. Miller also placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.58 and swam a leg in four relays that all placed top three including: a 200-yard medley relay (1:29.50) that finished second, a 400-yard freestyle relay (3:21.85) that finished second, a 200-yard freestyle relay (1:23.25) that finished third, and a 400-yard medley relay (3:04.9) that finished third.

Tyler German, Men's Hockey
German recorded his first career hat trick in the Pointer's 9-0 win over Hamline on Wednesday (Feb. 16) Just 31 seconds into the second period, German scored his first goal of the game. He then scored a power-play goal at 9:47 of the second period. Then at 16:26 of the third period, German completed his first career hat trick. With a recorded assist in the game, German picked up four points in the game.
Jared Schrang, Men's Track
Schrang led the way for the Pointers at UW-Oshkosh's Titan Challenge on Saturday (Feb. 19) by taking a first-place finish in 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.36. He was the only Pointer to win an event in Oshkosh.
