Bunting played a crucial role in UWSP winning their second-straight WIAC Championship (presented by Culver's) and fifth total. He scored the first goal of the night for the Pointers in the first period then netted his second goal of the night at 1:23 of the second period. At the backend of the third, Bunting tacked on an assist to keep the Pointers in the drivers seat for the remainder of regulation.

Trent Van Ess (Baseball)
Van Ess hit .500 over UWSP three game on opening weekend in Kentucky hitting safely in all three. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the opener against North Central. Then, in the nightcap, he went 3-for-4 with all three being doubles against host Spalding. On Sunday, he had another hit, scored a run and stole a base versus No. 10 Denison.
Luca Paladino (Wrestling)
Paladino placed fourth in the 125 bracket. He dropped a narrow 5-4 decision in the semifinals. Then in the consolation bracket, he advanced to the third-place match with an 11-5 decision. He came up short in an 8-5 decision in the third-place match.Â
Men's Distance Medley Relay (Track & Field)
The men's distance medley relay team of Braedon Gilles, Brad Brewer, Logan Lutz and Derek Penzkover set a new school record with a time of 9:45.29. The time ranks the relay unit 11th in the nation earning the quad a trip to the NCAA Championships.
Josh Brogren (Volleyball)
Brogren had a productive weekend at the Marian Tournament. He posted a double-double against Marian with 19 assists and 12 digs. He led all players with 27 assists against Loras.
Declan Trant (Diving)
Trant placed 13th in the 3-meter dive with a score of 377.70, earning an average round score of 34.34. In the 1-meter dive, Trant finished 18th with a score of 362.15.
