Kyle Heck, freshman (Plover Wis., / SPASH) had three points in two games this past weekend.  Hosting St. Scholastica on Friday night, Heck tallied four shots on goal with two shots in each of the final two periods.  However; Heck’s most important shot came with less than a minute left in the second period as Heck converted a UWSP power-play opportunity for the game tying goal in an eventual 3-2 UWSP win.  Saturday facing UW-Superior, in the final home regular season game of 2011, Heck opened the scoring with an even-strength goal midway through the first period.  With the score tied 3-3 with less than two minutes left in regulation Heck assisted on the game winning goal to give the Pointers their third straight win.
