Ward won the long jump at the St. Norbert College Invite on Saturday with a jump of 5.31 meters. It was the best mark in the conference last week.

Maddie Candre, softball
Candre ended the year on a five-game hitting streak, including four-straight multi-hit outings.  In UWSP’s sweep of UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday, Candre hit her first career home run and scored the walk-off run in the seventh in game one. She had two more hits and scored a run in game two. On Sunday at UW-Stout, Candre had two more two-hit games, including a pair of doubles in game one. She hit .409 with four runs, two RBI and a stolen base over the six games.
