Ritchay’s consistent performance helped the Pointers to a 3-2 record, including 2-0 in WIAC play. Playing 4-of-5 games on the road, Ritchay lead the Pointers in scoring in three of the games. In the five game stretch he averaged nearly five assists per contest and shoot over 50 percent from the field each game. In a road loss against St. Thomas, he shot 62 percent from the field (8-for-13) for 16 points while dishing out four assists. In a win at Texas-Dallas, Ritchay tallied 13 points (6-for-11, 55 percent), six rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block. In another road game at Texas-Concordia, Ritchay poured in an efficient 20 points on 9-of-15, 60 percent, shooting, while pulling down six rebounds. In a home win against River Falls, the sophomore shot 56 percent (5-for-11) and handed out six assists and grabbed four rebounds. Finally, in road victory at Eau Claire, he tallied 13 points, four assists, and two steals. During this stretch Joe averaged 14.4 points, four rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.5 steals, and nearly a block per game while shooting 57 percent from the field.
