On Saturday against UW-Eau Claire, Barber became just the 19th Pointer in the school’s history to record her 1000th career point. Going into the game against the Blugolds she needed just six points to surpass the mark, which she achieved in the first half. Barber finished the game with 12 points and seven rebounds. Two days earlier she posted 20 points in the second half to help the Pointers take down the Falcons of River Falls. In the match-up Barber also fell just one rebound short of a double-double, also recording a season-high four steals and three blocks in the win.
Dec. 27-29 the Pointers played three games in three days, two in Wisconsin Dells and one at home. In just 15 minutes of work against MSOE Barber managed to tally 21 points, shooting 9-for-12 from the field, and pulling down 5 rebounds. In a win over Ripon College she posted 16 points, pulled down a game-high eight rebounds and handed out three assists. At home against Edgewood Barber tallied 17 points as she went 3-for-4 from behind the arc, pulling down seven more rebounds.
During the holiday break Barber averaged 17.8 points per game, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals. The pre-season All-American has now posted double-digit scoring in 14-of-14 games this season.
