Loss brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 30 years of coaching soccer at various levels, including the last two as a head coach with the Wisconsin ODP.

Loss started his coaching career in the DC Everest School district where he served  as the boys head coach at D.C. Everest High School from 1993-1997. He then initiated the girls program in 1993, remaining as that program’s head coach for seven years.

Afterward, he relocated to Madison to work as executive director of the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association and assisted the girls team at McFarland High School. Loss also served as a board member and coached multiple teams in the Beaver Dam United Soccer Club before relocating to Stevens Point where he currently serves as the Boy’s Head Coach at Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). 

Loss has also been a soccer official at the NCAA Division 1 and 3 Levels in Conference USA, The Horizon League, and the WIAC. Loss also served as a WIAA High School soccer official, including officiating the Wisconsin State tournament five times.

Loss holds the following coaching credentials:

  • National D License – U.S. Soccer
  • Advanced National Diploma – United Soccer Coaches Association
  • National Diploma – United Soccer Coaches Association
  • Regional Diploma – United Soccer Coaches Association
