Sports medicine focuses on the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of sports-related injuries. Our Sports Medicine medical team provides comprehensive care to student athletes at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.Â
Our specialists include seven board-certified, licensed athletic trainers and one primary care sports physician and orthopedic surgeon who are employed by Marshfield Clinic Health System to provide high-quality sports medicine service and care for UWSP Athletics.
The primary Sports Medicine Clinic is a 2,500 square foot facility in Marshfield Clinic Health System Champions Hall (040 MCCH). Additionally, there are 2 auxiliary sports medicine facilities located in MCCH focusing on specialty care and sport specific rehabilitation.Â
