CHICAGO, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point men's tennis team fell by a 6-1 final at Illinois Tech on Sunday.
Augie Nelson (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./Jacobs) got the lone win for the Pointers. He took the No. 6 singles by a 6-4, 6-4 score.

Ayden Knuth (Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln) fell in a tiebreak at No. 1 doubles, 7-6 (7).
Dawson Froemming (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) also came close at No. 1 singles, falling in a super-breaker by a 6-4, 1-6, 0-1 (6) score.
Anthony Janes (Bismarck, N.D./Legacy) won six games at No. 2 singles. Knuth won four games at No. 5 singles.
Conner Kryscio (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) and
Jacob Stinski (Oshkosh, Wis./West) won two games each at No. 2 and No. 4 singles.
Kryscio and Stinski won four games at No. 3 doubles. Janes and Froemming fell at No. 2 doubles, 6-2.
The Pointers will face Carroll in Neenah on March 29 at 9:00 a.m.
