NEENAH, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team earned a 7-0 win over Carroll on Sunday to improve to 18-3 on the season.
The Pointers swept doubles play with 6-1, 6-2, and 6-0 wins at No. 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
Chloe Regal (Stewartville, Minn./Stewartville) prevailed in a super-breaker at No. 1 singles, 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (7).
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) got the win at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 7-6 (2).
Annie Wierzbicki (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) took No. 3 singles by a 6-3, 6-4 final.
Ellie Aitken (Sterling, Ill./Sterling) earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere) won at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Allie Brosteau (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port) got a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles.
