ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team placed fourth int eh 30-team field at the QC D3 National Invitational on Sunday.

Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) took third in the 180 bracket winning twice by fall on Sunday.
Alexis Winecke (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) got fourth in the 103 bracket. She earned one win by tech fall on Sunday.
Brooke Schuenemann (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth Comprehensive) took fourth in the 145 bracket. She got a win by tech fall on Sunday.
Lana Zimmerman (Cortland, Ill./Dekalb) was eighth in the bracket. She won twice on Sunday, once by tech fall and once by fall.
Amerrah Kayon (Kenosha, Wis./Shoreland) was fourth in the 160 bracket. She won twice by tech fall and once by fall on Sunday.
Amelia Adams (La Crosse, Wis./Logan) placed sixth in the 124 bracket. She won twice by tech fall on Sunday.
Rosemary Triggs (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) earned a win by tech fall in the bracket as well.
Margaret Gillmore (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central) finished seventh in the 117 bracket. She earned wins by decision and tech fall on Sunday.
Hollis Nelson (Milwaukee, Wis./Whitefish Bay) earned one win by tech fall on Sunday.
Elsie Triplett (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) came in eighth in the 131 bracket. She got two wins by fall on Sunday.
Cadie Percy (Windsor, Colo./Windsor) also finished eighth in the 138 bracket. She earned a tech fall win on Sunday.
Briana Martinez (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul) earned another win by decision in the 110 bracket on Sunday.
The Pointers head to Indiana for the NCAA Region VII competition beginning on Feb. 20 at 9:00 a.m.
