GRINNELL, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team forced a tiebreak and a super-breaker, but fell at Grinnell by a 7-0 score.
Chloe Regal (Stewartville, Minn./Stewartville) forced a super-breaker at No. 1 singles. She came up short in the first set, 6-4. Regal won the second set by the same 6-4 final. In the super-breaker, she battled to a 10-7 defeat.
Allie Brosteau (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port) and
Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere) got the only win on the day for UWSP with a 6-2 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Annie Wierzbicki (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) forced a tiebreak at No. 1 doubles. They came up short, 7-6 (4).
Brosteau won four games at No. 6 singles. Steier won three games at No. 2 singles.
The Pointers face Loras and Ripon in Neenah on Sunday (Feb. 22) at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively.
