STEVENS POINT, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up the final day of the Point Invite. The men and women finished third with scores of 821.5 and 588, respectively,

The men were led by individual finishes from Samuel Douglas (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls), Gavin Schick (Greenfield, Wis./Greenfield) and Scott Jenn (Madison, Wis./Memorial).
 
Douglas swam to a second-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:31.78. Schick took second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.17. Jenn placed third in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:02.04 and sixth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.83
 
The 200-yard medley relay team of Jenn, Wyatt Gross (Geneva, Ill./Geneva Community), Shawn Denis (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander) and Matthew Loy (Mazomanie, Wis./Wisconsin Heights) stopped the clock at 1:37.68 to take first.
 
The women were led by individual finishes from Gracyn Schmitz (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) and Hollyn Ambre (Batavia, Ill./Batavia).
 
Schmitz took fourth-place in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 19:20.25. Ambre placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.79.
 
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Anna Scheglowski (Northfield, Minn./Northfield), Bailey Vincer (Byron, Ill./Byron), Katie Shaw (Madison, Wis./West) and Ambre took fourth with a time of 3:47.24.
 
The Pointers are back in action for a road dual against UW-Milwaukee on Friday (Jan. 30), beginning at 1:00 p.m.
