SAINT PETER, Minn.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to Saint Peter to compete in the Gustavus/Minnesota State Triangular. The men finished with a team score of 150.50 against Gustavus' 162.50 and the women finished the triangular with a team score of 58 against Division II Minnesota State's 255, and 79.50 to Gustavus' 233.50.

UWSP recorded multiple men's event wins, led by Grant Bergmann (Waukesha, Wis./South) in the 1,000-free at 10:33.50 and the 500-free at 5:07.56. Bergmann was followed by Cole Brodin (Rochester, Minn./Century) in second and Andy Barden (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port) in third in the 500-free, while Sam Douglas and Barden placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 1,000-free.
 
Camden Barwick (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) won the 50-yard free in 21.60, and Ruslan Bayuk (Eagan, Minn./Two Rivers) took the 100-free in 47.93 after placing second to Barwick in the 50-free. Barwick, Shawn Denis (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander), Jakson Wagner (DeForest, Wis./DeForest Area) and Bayuk also won the 200-free relay in 1:26.01, while freshman River Reeves (Wautoma, Wis./Oshkosh North) won both diving events with scores of 248.05 on one-meter and 256.10 on three-meter.
 
On the women's side, Anna Dart (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) placed third in the 50-free in 25.33 and sixth in the 100-free in 56.19. Avery Lowe (Rogers, Minn./Buffalo) finished third in the 200-fly in 2:19.60 and fifth in the 100-fly in 1:00.49, and the 200-medley relay team of Hannah King (Rockford, Ill./Guilford), Dart, Lowe and Katie Shaw (Madison, Wis./West) placed sixth in 1:54.15.
 
The Pointers are back on the road to De Pere, Wis. on Oct. 31 to face St. Norbert College at 1:00 p.m.
