Box Score STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The No. 23 UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team (14-3, 4-2) nearly doubled up visiting UW-River Falls (6-11, 1-5) in an eventual 86-64 win.
Logan Baumgartner (Medford, Wis./Medford) led the Pointers in scoring with 20 points.
Grant Manz (Kiel, Wis./Kiel) racked up a career-high 17.
Josiah Butler (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) also had 17 points and
Seth Miron (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) added 11.
The visiting Falcons hit six three-pointers in the first half and Manz had 10 points at the half as UWSP trailed, 39-37.
The Pointers returned the favor in the second half burying eight three-pointers. UWSP outscored the Falcons, 49-25, in the second half.
The Pointers travel to UW-La Crosse on Saturday (Jan. 24) to close out the first-half of the conference schedule. Tip-off at UWL is at 7:00 p.m.
