KENOSHA, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team defeated Carthage, 41-7, in a dual on Friday.
 
Margaret Gillmore (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central), Amelia Adams (La Crosse, Wis./Logan), Cadie Percy (Windsor, Colo./Windsor), Brooke Schuenemann (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth Comprehensive) and Amerrah Kayon (Kenosha, Wis./Shoreland) all got victories by fall. Adams and Percy needed less than a minute to get the job done.
 
Alexis Winecke (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) and Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) won by tech fall. Kate Riege (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead Union) got a 4-2 decision win and Cera Philson (Thorp, Wis./Thorp) got a win by forfeit.
 
The Pointers are back in action on Sunday (Jan. 18) at the Elmhurst Invite beginning at 9:00 a.m.
