STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team won duals against Cornell, 36-9, and Dubuque, 33-14, at the Pointer Duals on Saturday.

In the win over Cornell, Margaret Gillmore (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central), Cadie Percy (Windsor, Colo./Windsor) and Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) all got victories by tech fall. Kate Riege (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead Union) won a 5-2 decision. Alexis WInecke, Briana Martinez (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul), Amelia Adams (La Crosse, Wis./Logan) and Cera Philson (Thorp, Wis./Thorp) all got wins by forfeit.
 
Adams, Kuge and Brooke Schuenemann (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth Comprehensive) got wins by fall against Dubuque. Winecke won by tech fall and Percy won a 5-0 decision. Philson and Riege got wins by forfeit.
 
The Pointers are back in action on Sunday (Jan. 11) at the Lakeland Scramble beginning at 12:30 p.m.
