DE PERE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team (2-1-0) earned its second-consecutive 2-0 shutout win on the road defeating St. Norbert on Wednesday night.
UWSP fired four shots on goal in the first 20 minutes to no avail. In the 36th minute, UWSP earned its first penalty kick of the night. SNC goalkeeper Taylor Wilson made the save. Less than 30 seconds later,
Piper Hanley (Farmington, Minn./Farmington) fired one past Wilson to break the scoreless tie.
In the 76th minute, the Pointers earned another penalty kick.
Paige Ostroushko (Prior Lake, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) stepped to the spot and gave UWSP a 2-0 lead.
The Pointers dominated the match outshooting the Green Knights, 19-4. UWSP also earned 10 of the 11 corner kicks in the match.

Shea Lucas (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) posted another shutout with two saves. She has begun her career with 225 consecutive shutout minutes.
