RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team is third after the first round of the UWRF Falcon Invite. Freshman Martina Hudaj (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) is fifth among individuals.

Top UWSP Individual:  Hudaj shot a +8 to sit in fifth just three strokes off the lead.
Notables: Delaney Giesen (Mankato, Minn./West), Madelyn Duchene (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais Community) and Kate Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) all shot an identical 85 to tie for 15th.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: UW-Stout leads by nine strokes over Dakota Wesleyan. UWSP is five strokes behind DWU.
Top Individual:  UW-Stout's Ashleigh Johnson holds a one shot lead over three golfers.
