WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point softball team (25-7, 4-4) swept a doubleheader from No. 15 UW-Oshkosh (26-6, 4-4) on Wednesday. The Pointers tossed a four-hit shutout in a 6-0 game one win.
Kaitlyn Roberts (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) walloped a walk-off home run in the 13th inning for a 4-3 win in game two.
Roberts had two hits on the day, including the walk-off home run. She scored two runs in each game.
Hailee Thompson (Bonduel, Wis./Bonduel) and
Jesse Klicker (Spring Grove, Ill/Richmond-Burton Community) had two RBI each in game one.
Sawyer Holberg (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Lincoln) had three hits on the day and drove in a run in each game.

Morgan Harwood (Neenah, Wis./Neenah) tossed 9.2 innings on the day with no earned runs allowed.
Ashley Zygowski (Saukville, Wis./Port Washington) tossed 9.0 scoreless innings on the day.
Game 1 – UWSP 6, UWO 0
Roberts hit a two-out triple in the first inning. Klicker followed with a single for a 1-0 UWSP lead.
Roberts drew a walk with one away in the third. Klicker then hit a triple to double the UWSP advantage. Holberg followed with a sac fly and the lead was 3-0.
Emmie Cibrario (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) led off the fourth with a single.
Trinity Otto (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) reached on a bunt single. Two batters later, Thompson ripped a two-run double to right-center for a 5-0 lead.
Otto singled with two down in the sixth. Pinch runner
Parker Zipperer (Neenah, Wis./Neenah) stole second.
Rachel Baker (Richmond, Ill./Richmond-Burton Community) reached on an infield single with Zipperer scoring on the play to put UWSP up, 6-0.
Harwood went 6.0 frames with one strikeout and just three hits allowed. Zygowski allowed one hit and struck out one in a scoreless seventh.
Game 2, UWSP 4, UWO 3 (13 inn.)
Back-to-back errors by UWO put two aboard with one out in the fourth. Holberg singled to drive in one run. With two away, Baker singled to plate another and put runners on the corners. Baker got in a rundown on an attempted double steal as UWSP took a 3-0 lead.
The Titans got two runs back in the fourth on two hits and a UWSP error. UWO tied the game with an unearned run in the sixth.
The game remained tied until the 13th. UWSP got two on in the ninth, another in the 10th, two more in the 11th and the 12th to no avail. Roberts led off the 13th and blasted the first pitch over the left field fence for the walk-off win.
Zygowski went 8.0 scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
Kodi Rizzo (Newark, Ill./Newark Community) had one strikeout in 1.1 innings of relief without an earned run against. Harwood pitched 3.2 innings with one strikeout and no earned runs against.
The Pointers travel to UW-River Falls on Saturday (April 26) for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
