GREENWOOD, Ind. – The UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team had two players earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, as announced on Tuesday (Mar. 25). Sophomores
Josiah Butler (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) and
Cal Krohn (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West) received honors.

Butler earned his first CSC Academic All-District Honor. He was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll last season. This season, Butler earned a spot on the All-WIAC first team. He led the Pointers in scoring with a 13.9 points per game average. He started all 27 games and racked up double-figure points in 19 games. Butler had a season-high 28 points against UW-Oshkosh starting a streak of six-straight games in double figures to end the season.
Krohn received his first CSC Academic All-District nod. He earned a spot on the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll last season. Krohn started all 27 games and averaged 10.9 points per game this season, third best on the team. He posted one double-double, 14 games with double-figure points and a season-high 31 in the opener at Lakeland.
The Pointers ended their season in the WIAC Semifinal game against UW-Platteville, falling 73-83.
