SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team (9-1) finished its trip to Texas with a 74-66 win over host Trinity (8-3) to conclude the Leslie Robinson Classic.

Cal Krohn (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West) led a quartet of Pointers in double figures with a game-high 22 points. Logan Baumgartner (Medford, Wis./Medford) added 17 with Seth Miron (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) and Isaiah Moore (Chicago, Ill./Evanston Township) also posting double figures with 15 and 11 points, respectively.

Miron scored the first four points for UWSP and Krohn completed an and-one to give the Pointers a 7-6 lead. Josiah Butler (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) nailed a three and scored all five of his points in succession for a 12-11 edge. Moore and Baumgartner hit from behind the arc as the lead reached 22-11.

Moore added four more points but Trinity got within 26-23 with two minutes left in the half. Miron scored four points and Baumgartner drilled another three as the Pointers were ahead, 35-26, at the break.

Baumgartner buried another three early in the second half but an 8-2 run by the Tigers cut the lead to 42-37. Miron scored three points and Trinity made it a one-point game, 46-45, midway through the second half.

Krohn poured in six quick points and Baumgartner again hit from deep for a 57-51 lead. Krohn scored seven points down the stretch and Baumgartner made five free throws in the closing minutes to seal the win.
