NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (2-0-0) needed overtime to complete a weekend sweep with another 2-1 win over St. Olaf (0-2-0) on Saturday.
 
Freshman 
Dani Weiland (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville) scored her second goal of the weekend to put the Pointers ahead at the 10:38 mark of the second period. Fellow freshman 
Abby Skelly (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) got her first career point with an assist on the play.
 
The Oles tied the game at 14:50 of the second period and it remained knotted at 1-1 heading to overtime.
 
In the final minute of the extra session, 
Maddie Andrle (Blaine, Minn./Blaine) netted the game-winner with 51.6 seconds remaining in overtime. 
Natalie Ahern (Byron, Minn./Byron) got her first point of the year with an assist,
 
UWSP goaltender 
Anne Beck (Grandville, Mich./Grandville) made 41 saves, including three in overtime, to earn the win. St. Olaf goaltender Carley Tuman made 18 saves.
 
The Pointers host St. Catherine on Friday (Nov. 7) in the home opener. Puck drop at K.B. Willett Arena is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
