MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's golfer Connor Schaefer (Greenville, Wis./Hortonville) had four birdies on Monday catapulting him to the individual title at the MSOE Invite to close out fall competition for the team.

Top UWSP Individual:  Schaefer birdied the first, fourth, eighth and 16th holes on Monday to shoot a 71 (E), the best round of the day, to take over first place for the win.
Notables: Carter Broten (De Pere, Wis./De Pere), Alex Ross (Mineral Point, Wis./Mineral Point), Jake Zwiers (Little Chute, Wis./Little Chute) and Jonah Oberfoell (Dubuque, Iowa/Wahlert Catholic) all finished in the top-8 with seven combined birdies on Monday.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Host MSOE won by a five-shot advantage over the second-place Pointers.
Top Individual: Schaefer won the event by two strokes over Dylan Handlan of MSOE.
