LAKE GENEVA, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point men's golfers Alex Ross (Mineral Point, Wis./Mineral Point) and Matthew Handal (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) tied for sixth individually at the Como Crossings 36-Hole Intercollegiate on Wednesday.

Top UWSP Individual: Ross had five birdies and Handal had three on the day as the duo tied for sixth in the one-day tournament.
Notables: Carter Lemke (Monticello, Minn./Monticello) racked up a team-high seven birdies on the day. He finished tied for 22nd (+10).
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Dubuque and host Carthage shared the team title at +23, three strokes better than the field.
Top Individual: Dubuque's John Dobbe ran away with the individual title posting the only sub-par score (-6) to win by six shots.
Up next: The Pointers close out the fall slate on Oct. 4 with the opening round of the Grand Intercollegiate.
