STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The No. 15 UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team (7-4-1) handed visiting No. 2 St. Norbert (12-3-0) its third-straight loss with a 4-1 win over the Green Knights.
 
Dawson Sciarrino (Greensburg, Pa.) got the scoring started at the 13:15 mark of the first period. He created a defensive zone turnover and scored the unassisted goal.
 
Just 33 seconds later, Fletcher Anderson (Thunder Bay, Ont.) gave UWSP a 2-0 lead. Nico Chmelevski (Northville, Mich.) and Joshua German (Waterford, Mich.) had assists on the eventual game-winner.
 
Chmelevski extended the lead to 3-0 at 10:18 of the second period. He took a feed from Anderson in the neutral zone and created his own breakaway for the goal.
 
The Green Knights got their lone goal on the power play at 14:54 of the second period.
 
Peyton Hart (Delafield, Wis.) restored the three-goal advantage just over a minute later. Gino Colangelo (Newmarket, Ont.) and Tyler German (Canton, Mich.) had assists on the goal.
 
UWSP goaltender Alex Proctor (Allen, Texas) made 34 saves, 14 in a scoreless third period, to earn the win. SNC goaltender Hunter Garvey had 23 saves.

The Pointers remain at home to face St. Scholastica on Friday (Jan. 10). Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. at K.B. Willett Arena.
