KENOSHA, Wis. – All of the offense occurred in the first half as the UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team (3-4-3) played to a 2-2 draw at Carthage (4-1-3) on Wednesday.
 
Jessica Camarato (DeForest, Wis./DeForest Area) got the Pointers on the board with her second goal in as many matches. Her 13th-minute tally was assisted on by 
Christa Borchardt (New Berlin, Wis./West).
 
In the 17th minute, 
Gabby Dunn (Dallas, Texas/Bishop Lynch) made it 2-0 in favor of the road side with an unassisted goal, her third on the season.
 
Carthage cut the Pointers' lead in half in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, the Firebirds tied the match at 2-2 heading to the break.
 
Neither team scored in the second half as the teams settled for a draw.
 
UWSP goalkeeper 
Erika Panella (Waukesha, Wis./Kettle Moraine) had six saves in the match. Carthage tandem of Ainsley Stallworth and Vickie Engel combined for 11 saves.
 
Camarato, Dunn, 
Rita Danner (West Des Moines, Iowa/Waukee) and 
Cass Klitzke (Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg Area) combined for 13 of UWSP's shots on goal.
 
The Pointers continue the road trip with a 3:30 p.m. match at Saint Mary's on Sunday (Sept. 29).
