MADISON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team moved up to 14th at the conclusion of the UWW Fall Invite completing four-straight days of competition.

Top UWSP Individual:  Kate Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) improved by three strokes on Monday to move up to a tie for 29th.
Notables: Rae Barwick (Waterford, Wis./Waterford Union) tied for 60th with a four shot improvement in round two. Madelyn Duchene (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais Community) cut 19 strokes off her first round score.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Centre won the event with a team score 17 strokes better than the runner up.
Top Individual: Grace Walker of Centre won the top individual winning by five strokes.
Up next: The Pointers will head to the WIAC Championships beginning on Oct. 4.
