EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's golf team wrapped up action in Eau Claire and the B-team finished tied for ninth while the A-team is moved up to 13th.

UWSP: T-9^th (B team) and 13th (A team) out of 18.
 
Top UWSP Individual:  Josh Brogren (Elkhorn, Wis./Elkhorn Area) shot a 79 to slip to a tie for 20th.
Notables: Dain Johnson (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) produced a 75 in round two to place tied for 20th. He was playing as an individual. Alex Ross (Mineral Point, Wis./Mineral Point) and Ethan Mehlberg (Junction City, Wis./Wisconsin Valley Lutheran) each shaved six strokes off their opening round score.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Nebraska Wesleyan held on to beat host UW-Eau Claire by two shots.
Top Individual: UWEC's Corey Boerner shot an even par 71 to secure a one-stroke victory.
Up next: The Pointers head to Kansasville for the Midwest Classic beginning Friday (Sept. 20) at 1:30 p.m.
