PRESCOTT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team finished 10th as did senior Kate Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) after the final round of the UWRF Falcon Invite.

UWSP: 10^th out of 13
 
Top UWSP Individual:  Kate Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) finished 10th in the 74-player field and improved her second round score by two shots on Sunday.
Notables: Nearly all of the Pointers improved their second round scores on Sunday with Isabel Zuniga-Meyer (Brookfield, Wis./East) finishing 15 strokes better, the biggest improvement from the first round.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Despite being the only team that didn't improve in the second round on Sunday, UW-Stout won the event by 21 strokes over UW-La Crosse.
Top Individual: UW-Stout's Julia Imai held off teammate Sydney Grimm and won the event by four shots.
Up next: The Pointers head to Onalaska on Sept. 14 for the UW-La Crosse Fall Invite.
