STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point head men's and women's golf coach Katie Kreuser has announced she is stepping down from her position.
 
Kreuser has headed men's and women's golf squads the past two seasons. She led the women to a fifth-place finish in both seasons at the WIAC Championships, coaching two All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team golfers and one College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team recipient.
 
Kreuser was also a pivotal piece in the development of the reinstated UWSP men's golf program prior to the 2022-23 season. She helped make strides throughout the WIAC in creating an unofficial conference championship. Kreuser coached a top-10 finisher in the championship in her final appearance at the helm for the Pointers.
 
UW-Stevens Point athletics will begin a national search for the next head men's and women's golf coach.
