BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team picked up a 6-3 victory at Northwestern on Saturday.
Chloe Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) won her No. 3 singles match in super-breaker fashion. After dropping the first set, 6-4, she won the second set, 6-2. In the super-breaker, she prevailed by a 10-6 final.

Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere) needed a tiebreak to win at No. 2 doubles, 8-7 (8). Steier won at No. 4 singles, 7-5, 6-1.
Maya Kunze (Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli) and
Katie Meyer (Wausau, Wis./West) picked up an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles. Kunze won a hard-fought No. 5 singles match, 7-5, 7-5.
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) won at No. 1 singles by a 6-1, 6-3 final.
The Pointers head to Illinois on Saturday (March 2) to take on North Park at 11:00 a.m.
