ALTOONA, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team lost to UW-Eau Claire in league play by a 9-0 final.
Maya Kunze (Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli) had the best showing winning five games in her No. 3 singles match. She also won a game at No. 3 doubles with partner
Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere).
Quinlyn Mack (Prairie Du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie) won three games at No. 2 singles. Along with partner
Allie Brosteau (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port), the duo won two games at No. 2 doubles.
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central) won a game in each set at No. 1 singles. Brosteau did the same at No. 6 singles. Steier and
Jordan Scharf (Wauwatosa, Wis./West) each won one game at No. 5 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
The Pointers return to action on Friday (Oct. 11) in the final home match of the fall. First serve is slated for 3:00 p.m. at University Courts.
