RIVER FALLS, Wis. – Freshman 
Paige Ostroushko (Prior Lake, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) scored her first career goal as the UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team (4-5-5, 1-1-1) dropped a 2-1 decision at UW-River Falls (7-4-2, 2-1-0) on Saturday.
The host Falcons opened the scoring in the 15th minute of play.
 
Ostroushko notched her first collegiate goal in the 33rd minute. Fellow freshman 
Kayce Wadas (Elk Grove Village, Ill./Elk Grove) picked up her first career point on the play with an assist.
 
Just before halftime, the Falcons regained the lead scoring just six seconds before the break.
 
UWSP goalkeeper 
Erika Panella (Waukesha, Wis./Kettle Moraine) had four saves. UWRF goalkeeper Grace Zellmer made seven.
 
Gabby Dunn (Dallas, Texas/Bishop Lynch) led the Pointers in shots on goal with three. Ostroushko added two.
 
The Pointers are back at home on Saturday (Oct. 19) for a 5:00 p.m. match against UW-Whitewater.
