DE PERE, Wis. – The No. 6 UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team (14-4-1) rallied twice, but fell at St. Norbert (13-5-0) with just 13 seconds left in overtime, 4-3.
The Green Knights took a 1-0 lead at 8:42 of the first period and held that one-goal advantage after one period of play.
David Hill (Glen Mills, Pa.) knotted the game at 1-1 at the 3:15 mark of the second period, an unassisted goal.
At 7:53 of the second period,
Tyler German (Canton, Mich.) gave the Pointers a 2-1 lead.
Isaac Moberg (St. Paul, Minn.) assisted on the tally.
SNC tied the game at 2-2 at 12:04 of the second. In the opening minute of the third period, SNC regained the lead, 3-2.
Late in the third period,
Conor Witherspoon (Metamora, Mich.) again pulled UWSP even.
Gino Colangelo (Newmarket, Ont.) and
Nick Gonrowski (New Hope, Minn.) had assists on the goal at 16:28 to tie the game at 3-3.
The game remained tied and headed to overtime. The Green Knights scored with just 13 seconds left to earn the win.

Alex Proctor (Allen, Texas) had 25 saves. SNC goaltender Hunter Garvey made 26 saves.
The Pointers face UW-Stout in a home conference weekend series beginning on Friday (Jan. 26) at 7:00 p.m. at K.B. Willett Arena.
