BELTON, Texas – The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team (1-6-0) concluded a weekend in Texas with a 3-1 defeat at Mary Hardin-Baylor (6-0-0) on Saturday night.
Cass Klitzke (Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg Area) netted her team-leading third goal of the season late in the match.
The host Crusaders took the lead in the 31st minute after being awarded a penalty kick. UMHB doubled the lead in the 41st minute.
Early in the second half, the Crusaders made it 3-0 on a 49th-minute goal.
Klitzke final brought the Pointers' scoreless drought in Texas with an 87th-minute tally.

Savannah Reed (Waukegan, Ill./St. Joseph Catholic Academy) made season-high 10 saves in net.
The Pointers return home for back-to-back matches beginning on Wednesday (Sept. 27) with a 4:00 p.m. match against Beloit.
